We used the SpellQuizzer software to assist our 5th grader in practicing her word list. I recorded her spelling list into the SpellQuizzer. She was then able to practice her words on her own. She enjoyed the independence it gave her in studying! This allowed me to work with her sister on another subject. You can record the words and SpellQuizzer plays them back! It became a game for her and she was excited to practice and learn! I found that this made it more of a learning game vs. a learning chore!SpellQuizzer allows you to download a free 30 day trial!! Everybody thought my daughter with seven children was loco for Homeschooling Her two oldest boys have finished their schooling a year ahead and one is holding a 3.45 grade average into his second semester at UNM. The next oldest wants to be an auto mechanic and I hear he is a whiz. Keep up the good work!

One thing I learned when I visited Spell Quizzer is that you can record the spelling words on the software program.

Spelling is really important in many of the competitive exams like IELTS or GMAT especially if you are targeting a high score. Wrong spelling is penalised in most of the exams and you might leave a bad impression to examiner if you have many spelling mistakes.
Take the following test many times and wee if you are consistently scoring Green. If not, you need to give special attention to spelling.
